An exploration in origami and building via laser cutting precise geometries. Baihua means white flower in Chinese. The underlying geometry was a dodecahedron,  but the structure itself is entirely bristol board shapes that folded into the body of the lantern and were secured via fastners. 

A similar exploration in creating geometries and building it. These pieces were built via building a mold through cnc, and then vacuum-forming pvc over the base. This was built with my classmate,.
